Just listening to the highly recommended reissue/comp "What Is Success", and thinking, even if you discount all his legendary production work for others, Mr Toussaint ranks as one of my favorite soul dudes. 'Southern Nights' has been in solid rotation for almost a year, and listening to pretty much anything he's touched, you can tell he really just personifies N'awlins.
